KIN 2040 - Human Anatomy (4)


When Offered: Fall; Spring
This course is the first of a two-semester sequence in anatomy and physiology and provides a comprehensive study of the anatomy of the human body. Topics include the anatomical terminology, structure and function of the musculoskeletal system and the anatomy of the organs that compose the nervous, cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, renal and reproductive systems. Emphasis is placed on the identification of gross and microscopic anatomy of all major organ systems of the human body, in order to prepare students for the KIN 2050 Human Physiology  course. Lecture three hours, laboratory two hours.
Prerequisites: BIO 1201 ; or BIO 1801 ; or CHE 1101  and CHE 1110 .
