Foundations of American Democracy Requirement
Foundations of American Democracy Requirement Three (3) credits of Foundations of American Democracy (FAD) are required for degree completion. Courses that meet this requirement may also be used to meet other major, minor, or General Education requirements. Major Requirements (59-60 Hours)
CSD GPA requirements: 3.2 cumulative GPA required for declaration, 3.2 cumulative GPA required for retention, and 3.2 cumulative and 2.0 major GPA required for graduation. CSD grade requirements: All CSD majors must earn a minimum grade of “C” (2.0) in each required course in the major, and a minimum grade of “B” (3.0) for CSD 2260 . Students may repeat a CSD course only once. Students may repeat only two CSD courses throughout the program. Major Requirements that may also satisfy general education requirements (10-11 Hours)
Note: not all science courses will count towards the science inquiry, so only 3-8 credit hours will count for both the major and General Education. Physics or Chemistry (4 Hours)
